The Choirs

Concert Choir

• Grades 7-12
• Entrance by audition only
• Rehearsals held on Mondays from 3:30-5:00 p.m.
• 5+ performances per year, overnight retreat at Aspen Grove in January, and a 10-day tour of the California Coast (June 2-11)
• Tuition: $405/year (scholarships available); $750 for tour (optional)

Children's Choir

• Grades 4-6
• Non-auditioned
• Rehearsals held on Mondays from 3:30-5:00 p.m.
• 3+ performances per year and choral festival in the spring
• Tuition: $315/year (scholarships available) $30-$50 for choral festival (optional)

Junior Chorus

• Grades 1-3
• Non-auditioned
• Rehearsals held on Mondays from 3:30-4:15 p.m.
• 2+ performances per year
• Tuition: $225/year

Policies and Procedures

• Attendance: Choir members must maintain consistent attendance at rehearsals in order to be eligible to sing in performances. Concert Choir members may miss a maximum of two rehearsals during a semester (September to December or January to May). Extra "help sessions" are provided periodically each month in order to make up absences at regular Monday rehearsals. Attendance at final rehearsals leading up to performances are mandatory. Choir members must make a year-long commitment to the choir.
• At-Home Practice: Choir members are expected to practice at home (with the aid of a customized practice CD included in tuition) in order to learn all of the required repertoire. As a guideline, choir members should expect to practice 10 minutes per day but may be asked to do more at the director's discretion.

Tuition and Fees

• Tuition is $405 for the Concert Choir, $315 for the Children's Choir, and $225 for Junior Singers. Payment plans are available by contacting our Finance department at (801) 642-0055.
• Tuition includes sheet music, practice CD, and other supplies needed. There is no separate fee for materials.
• Scholarships are available for talent merit and/or financial need. Scholarship applications can be submitted after an audition.
• New Concert Choir members should expect to pay $70-$90 for concert attire. Children's Choir members should expect to pay $20-$50 for concert attire. Junior Singers do not need to purchase any specific concert attire items, but will be given specific dress guidelines for performances.
