On Campus Programs
American Heritage is located on a breathtaking 11-acre parcel of property immediately
adjacent to the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah and serves over 750
students in grades K-12.
Classes are held Monday through Friday
Grades 1-6: 8:30 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.
Grades 7-12: 8:10 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.
AM Kindergarten: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.
PM Kindergarten: 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Elementary School
Students in grades K-6 study with a teacher for Devotional, Math, Reading,
Language, Literature, Phonics, Orthography, Spelling, Geography, and History. These
students have specialty teachers for Science, Music and Physical Education. Saxon
Math, Riggs Phonics and A Beka Language are used as curriculum for basic subjects.
American Heritage School scores above the 80th percentile in most subjects with many students scoring in the 90-99th percentile. K-8 students are tested throughout the year taking STAR assessments.
Middle and High School
Upper school (grades 7-12) currently offers the following Advanced Placement courses, and students
are well prepared to take other AP tests:

Seminary is provided at the school during the day and also as an early morning
option.
Extra-curricular Programs
Extra-curricular programs at the school include Drama, Art, Student Government,
National Honors Society, Choir, Orchestra, Constitution Bowl, Science Bowl and other
events. Athletics include boys and girls basketball, soccer and cross-country.
Students are also welcome to participate in the School Service Association (IUWE),
a chess group, and FLL Robotics that is open to students from elementary through 8th Grade.
Prepared Graduates
Continuing a strong tradition of excellence, American
Heritage School’s 2014 graduation rate was nearly
100%, most of whom either went directly on missions
or to colleges and universities, many with scholarships.
Over the last four years, AHS graduates have been
admitted to
BYU (all campuses), Purdue, University
of Michigan, UCLA, University of Washington, Indiana
University, University of British Columbia, University
of Utah, Utah State, Edmonds College, University of
California at Santa Barbara, Southern Virginia University,
Weber State, UVU, New York University, Institute of
Chicago—School of Art, Florida Institute of Technology,
McGill University (Quebec), and more.
To date, AHS
has had five students receive National Merit honors
for their stellar academic performance, placing them
in the top 3% of nearly 2 million eligible high school
candidates. This year, one AHS graduate was selected
as a National Merit Finalist.
Several graduating seniors
have received their mission calls and have reported to
missions in Taiwan, Russia, Thailand, California, Costa
