Lynette Carver was born and raised in Farmington, New Mexico. She married Craig Carver in the Idaho Falls temple in 1974 and is a mother of seven, and currently, grandmother of twenty-one. Her academic background includes child and human development, and elementary education. She returned to school after raising her children and graduated in 2002 from BYU with a Bachelors in Education and Human Development. Her great love of children and the principle-based curriculum brought her to American Heritage in that same year. Her interests include teaching, reading, playing guitar and piano, drawing and creating, and writing. Lynette has had original material published in several university textbooks and used in college curriculum both at BYU-Idaho and BYU. After 12 years in the core classroom, she is currently working to further develop and expand the reading and intervention department at AHS. She deeply loves AHS and is committed to strengthen the purpose of the school.
