Heidi Crossley is coming into her second year at AHS as an AP English teacher and is excited to take on more teaching responsibilities this coming year. She attended and graduated from BYU-Idaho with an English Education Composite degree with a minor in editing/professional writing. Before graduating, Heidi served a mission in Roseville, California. Heidi Crossley grew up as the youngest of 8 siblings in the beautiful and historical Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. (Yes, Mr. Crossley is her brother.) Pittsburgh offered many opportunities to develop an eclectic assortment of talents and hobbies including fine art, vocal instruction (classical and Sweet Adelaide), classical piano, and drama. She also loves ultimate frisbee, soccer, and hiking. More than anything, Heidi loves the Lord. She is extremely grateful to have been led to a school where the whole truth can be taught transparently. Heidi's desire as a teacher at American Heritage is to unlock her students' analytical ability to have eyes to see and ears to hear the distinguishing differences between right from wrong and truth from error. As a helpful side note: Miss Crossley is an identical twin. Her twin occasionally visits the school. But don't you fret--they both still answer to "Miss Crossley" and have had years of practice conversing with strangers and friends who mistake them for someone they are not.
