Susan Ostler graduated from BYU in Secondary Education and has taught art and food science at Lehi Jr. She has worked with the youth in various ways throughout her life. Currently she is working as the Study Hall Supervisor and assisting in the library. She has a love for the students and is very grateful to have her own 5 children attend AHS for the last 17 years. She grew up in Utah and met her Husband Darrell after graduating from college. Susan served an LDS mission in the Philippines and served and lived with the refugees in the Philippines Refugee Processing Center for 13 months. After her mission she worked with Mary Ellen Edmunds at the MTC teaching welfare principles to the new missionaries. This was a job and experience that gave her a foundation of principle teaching in her own life. Three of her 5 children have served missions and she is waiting for the next two to serve. Susan loves studying nutrition, natural healing, face painting at festivals, working at the temple and gathering her family at a picnic table. Working at AHS feels like home to her.
