Cook, Autumn
Autumn grew up all over the world as the daughter of an Air Force officer. She spent some of her most formational years in the Washington, D.C. area, where her summer breaks and three-day weekends included trips to monuments, battlefields and landmarks, and a deep love for Liberty and our nation’s history was planted. Graduating from Brigham Young University with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Music, she went on to become civically active in venues ranging from the United Nations to her local voting precinct. She has taught seminary, homeschool, home preschool co-ops, Primary and Young Women, and her favorite, Primary music. Autumn met her husband, Joseph, in New York. They have four lively children. She believes strongly in focusing on the strengths of each child, and is thrilled to be part of American Heritage School’s mission of assisting parents to nurture each child’s individuality through the teaching of true principles.
