Alice Smith graduated from Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Minor in Supervision. She then earned her Masters of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. She has taught online courses since 2004, including in Information Technology, Business Communication, Keyboarding, and MS Office Software. She also taught business courses at Harrison College for eight years, where she received awards the institution’s Faculty Inspiration Award, and Student Continuing Retention Award. Prior to teaching, she worked for Purdue University as an Engineering and Education Services Coordinator. Her primary responsibilities were to work with manufacturers through the State of Indiana promoting pollution prevention. She lives in Dayton, Indiana (just outside of Lafayette, Indiana) with her youngest daughter and granddaughter. Her other daughter lives in Maryland with her husband and three children. She is a Primary co-teacher of a CTR 6 class. Alice loves doing family history, family search indexing, gardening, crocheting, and spending as much time as she can with her family.
