Ty Crossley was born in Logan, Utah to Jack and Deborah Crossley. He was raised outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as the second of eight children. He graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy in 2003, and he received his master’s degree in architectural design in 2008. Subsequently, he has spent time researching leadership in organizations at the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Michigan and the Arizona State University. He has enjoyed teaching students of all ages including senior professionals, undergraduate students, high school students and young children. He is passionate about learning and teaching, and he loves being in seventh grade! He married the former Lisa Andersen, and they now have seven beautiful children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, frisbee, running, reading good literature, and singing.
