Paula Soderstrom comes to American Heritage School with 14 years of teaching experience, including elementary school reading and writing (part and full-time, 2003 to present), and junior and high school civics, economics, and geography (part and full-time, 1996-present). Mrs. Soderstrom earned a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri, and multiple teaching credentials and certifications in Missouri, California and Utah (including a Level 2 Professional Educator License in Utah). With a passion for primary and elementary education, she is excited to teach at American Heritage School where she says “the unique blend of the gospel with academics confirms in my mind what I have always felt was the ideal way to teach”. Paula and her husband are the parents of six children, the youngest of whom graduated from high school in 2008.
